Victory in Jesus

I heard an old, old story,
How a Savior came from glory,
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me;
I heard about His groaning,
Of His precious blood’s atoning,
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory.

Chorus
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.

I heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing pow’r revealing.
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see;
And then I cried, “Dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit,”
And somehow Jesus came and bro’t
To me the victory.
Chorus

I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory.
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea;
About the angels singing,
And the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I’ll sing up there
The song of victory.
Chorus

We Are Children

Lake Erie Sunset.Jet Ski

We Are Children

In the morning, at the dawning, when life is beginning,
At the sunset, in the evening, when life is full grown,
We are children, just children in the arms of our Father,
Every moment forever His loved and His own.

In our singing, in our dancing, when dreams are all blooming,
In our weakness, in our failure, when grieving has come
We are children, just children in the arms of our Father,
Every moment forever His loved and His own.

When our Savior has returned and we shine in His glory
When His dear ones have become all He knew they would be
We’ll be children, just children in the arms of our Father,
Every moment forever His loved and His own.

We’ll be children, just children in the arms of our Father,
Every moment forever His loved and His own!

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
