beauty

The longer I live the more beautiful life becomes. If you foolishly ignore beauty, then you will soon find yourself without it. Your life will be impoverished. But if you invest in beauty, it will remain with you all the days of your life.

Give Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving from “About These Things” to you!

Give Thanks

Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son

Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son

And now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us”

And now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us”

Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son

Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son

And now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us”

And now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us”

Give thanks
We give thanks to You oh Lord
We give thanks

It’s a Good Thing to Give Thanks Unto the Lord

It’s a Good Thing to Give Thanks Unto the Lord

It’s a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord
And to sing praises unto our God.
It’s a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord
And to sing praises unto our God.
To show forth Thy lovingkindness
In the morning and every night.
It’s a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord.
To show forth Thy lovingkindness
In the morning and every night.
It’s a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord.

Words taken from Psalm 92:1-2

morning sun

Arranging a bowl of flowers in the morning sun can give a sense of quiet in a crowded day – like writing a poem, or saying a prayer.”
