different

different

When life hands you a lemon,
Squeeze it with all of your might!
When every day’s a burden,
Just live each one with delight.

And when you know you’re “different,”
Though you may not know just why–
Well, calculate your blessings
And walk with your head held high.

Sometimes folks hurt your feelings;
They may treat you with disdain.
Some folks can’t perceive God’s love,
So they try to cause you pain.

GOD knows the YOU He fashioned–
That you’re not “one size fits all” —
He made you not a tad too short
Or even one inch too tall.

He thinks you’re someone special–
You’re the perfect shape and size;
For God does not make rejects–
You’re the Apple Of His Eye!

I praise You because I am
fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Psalm 139:14
