Solitude is not always what it seems. Spending time alone with God takes determination and discipline, but pays the richest dividends as we get to know God better.

S – Spending time alone with You

O – Oh, Lord, why is it so hard to do?

L – Letting the tears or the laughter flow

I – Intimate moments when finally I know

T – The solace of seeking your mercy and grace

U – Unhindered by others in our quiet place

D – Dear Lord, may I be faithful and true

E – Ever sustained by moments with You

“every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea come, buy wine and milk without money and without price……
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live…..”
(from Isaiah 55)
