To tell her that she’s beautiful,
a litle girl needs her dad.
She needs the refuge of his strength
when she is feeling sad;
To know he’s her protector
with arms that hold her near,
With daddy-love to snuggle her
and help to dry each tear.
She needs to be his precious girl
when giggles tumble out,
And sometimes get a horsey-back
or share a tomboy shout!
Her daddy needs to honor her
with calm and steady tone;
She needs to know that daddy-love
will always be at home.
“Don’t keep on scolding and nagging your children, making them angry and resentful.
Rather, bring them up with the loving discipline the Lord Himself approves…..
