March On
Winter winds have blown and snowy forecasts have abounded this winter. As we head into a new month we thoughts our readers could use a little motivation to March On. If you are sick of winter, feeling drained by work, overwhelmed by responsibilities or bogged down by personal problems we hope this week’s quotes, verses and pictures will help you march on – remember, spring is on the way.

We’re Marching to Zion

1. Come, we that love the Lord,
And let our joys be known;
Join in a song with sweet accord,
And thus surround the throne.
o Refrain:
We’re marching to Zion,
Beautiful, beautiful Zion;
We’re marching upward to Zion,
The beautiful city of God.
2. The sorrows of the mind
Be banished from the place;
Religion never was designed
To make our pleasures less.
3. Let those refuse to sing,
Who never knew our God;
But children of the heav’nly King
May speak their joys abroad.
4. The men of grace have found
Glory begun below;
Celestial fruits on earthly ground
From faith and hope may grow.
5. The hill of Zion yields
A thousand sacred sweets
Before we reach the heav’nly fields,
Or walk the golden streets.
6. Then let our songs abound,
And every tear be dry;
We’re marching through Immanuel’s ground
To fairer worlds on high.
