Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from Heaven above
With wisdom, power and love
Our God is an awesome God
Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from Heaven above
With wisdom, strong power and love
Our God is an awesome God
When He rolls up the sleeves, He ain’t just putting on the Ritz
Our God is an awesome God
There’s thunder in his footsteps and lightning in His fist
Our God is an awesome God
Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from Heaven above
With wisdom, strong power and love
Our God is an awesome God
When the sky was starless in the void of the night
Our God is an awesome God
He spoke into the darkness and created the light
Our God is an awesome God
Judgment and wrath He poured out on Sodom
Mercy and grace He gave us at the cross
Hope that we have not too quickly forgotten that
That our God is an awesome God
Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from Heaven above
With wisdom, strong power and love
Our God is an awesome God
Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from Heaven above
With wisdom, power and love
Our God is an awesome God
Our God is an awesome God
Our God is an awesome God
Oh yes He is, oh yes, Hallelujah

See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. Hebrews 12:15
Weeds are so stubborn. No matter how hard you try to pull them out they find a way to rear their ugly heads over and over. Although you pull and tug from the top and they appear to be gone from the surface the root is often still in the ground gaining strength to sprout again. In life we all have struggles and temptations. At times we try to get rid of them on our own not realizing that Jesus, the master gardener is there to help. We must allow Him to get to the root of our problem and allow Him to dig it out. The digging and pruning may be painful for a time but once the problem area is truly turned over to the Lord (rooted out of our life) it will not sprout again. Let Jesus dig the problems out of your life and fill your garden with peace and love so you may live in joy for Him.
