MEMORIES GIFT
Memories are lovely, fragile things
that pause to rest awhile
They float in air on gossamer wings
and bring along a smile
Evoked by places where we go,
a glance, a smell, a touch
They transport us to former times
with those we love so much
A thought of you refreshes me
while reminiscence lingers
Its gentle warmth embraces me,
then drifts through memory’s fingers
by God’s Grace
“Remember how the Lord God
led you all the way . . .”
Deuteronomy 8:2

Very lovely, the melody of the words ads a special touch to the images…
